There was a special event to honor veterans of all wars
on May 22, 2004 hosted by BT'S CAFE in Elk Grove, California.
There were art displays, music and poetry readings.

Three Vietnam veteran authors did book signings and presentations and poetry readings: Bill McDonald ("A Spiritual Warrior's Journey", "Purple  Hearts", "Sacred Eye - Poetry in Search of The Divine")
Tony Lazzarini :Many books and plays including "Highest Traditions) and author, poet and artist Charlie Fortner ( "Ghost in the Nam").

William R. I. "Easy" Smih also read poetry from his collection of poetry.

Folk signer, veteran Robert Greene was on hand for the event.

The Vietnam Veterans of America Local #500 handed out information on PTSD and other resourceful matter.

The coffee shop/deli was  turned over for the use of local veterans
to honor them the week before Memorial Day.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO BT'S CAFE!
